Film of a traveler scaling the means of the popular Mayan Sanctuary of Kukulcán pyramid in Chichén Itzá, Mexico became famous online throughout the end of the week.
The traveler was chastened and despised by the group before a man hit the vacationer on the head with a stick as a repercussion of his activities.
José Arturo Chab Cárdenas of the Instituto Nacional de Antropologia e Historia (INAH) told the Mexico Day to day Post that the traveler was confined for about 12 hours and fined 5,000 pesos ($263) for intruding.
A viral video on the web shows the anonymous Clean man strolling down the means of the sanctuary. He crossed the obstructions that limited admittance to the step-pyramid zone and strolled up the memorable advances.
The man should be visible being accompanied by two sanctuary authorities as the group hurls abuses and reviles at the man. While the traveler supposedly climbed the steps to take photos of the illegal region, the Public Foundation of Human studies and History caused him to erase all the content he took.
Hopping on the pyramid’s limestone steps has been prohibited starting around 2008, the year after the Mayan sanctuary was named one of the seven New World Legacy Destinations by the UNESCO.
The fine gathered was added to the depository of the Tinúm district, and the traveler was held in the police headquarters at Tinum, Yucatán.
Chab Cárdenas told the Mexico Everyday Post: The Polist vacationer was the second individual to stroll up the means of the sanctuary of Kukulcán (or El Castillo by local people). He was gone before by Abigail Villalobos, who strolled the means on November 20, 2022.
Villalobos from Tijuana, Mexico, was given a similar treatment as the Clean vacationer. While she was being accompanied by watches, individuals flung indecencies and somebody even tossed water at her.
Abigail was supposedly discovered moving in the confined segment of the sanctuary and taking photographs of herself before the group saw her. They collectively began reciting “prison, prison, prison” and requested the gatekeepers to “secure her.”

It was subsequently unveiled that she was captured and fined 5,000 pesos (around $263).
Generally, the fines for climbing the 82-foot pyramid can go from $2569 to $5138, contingent upon the harm it brings to the Mayan sanctuary.
The Article 47 of the Government regulation on Archeological, Creative, and Notable Landmarks says that an individual saw as obligated for scaling the means gets a discipline of one to a decade, contingent upon their conditions.
